My Journey

Personal spiritual and emotional growth have consistently been focal points in my life. In my early adulthood, I dedicated myself to the study of the Hindu spiritual tradition of Advaita Vedanta. This quest led me to a three-year immersive course at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam in South India. The deep dive into Hindu spirituality and adopting a monastic lifestyle were not just learning experiences but transformative moments. Spirituality, for me, is about living a life grounded in values and venturing into the knowledge of one’s true nature. With minimal distractions in this setting, I confronted various facets of myself and grew in my understanding of non-dual reality.

Upon returning to the U.S., I felt a calling to further my growth journey and, as a result, ventured into the mental health profession. My personal endeavors in self-growth and self-compassion naturally evolved into a vocation centered on compassion for others.

Today, my study of the Advaita Vedanta spiritual tradition remains an ongoing passion. I am keen on sharing insights on Hindu spirituality, Sanskrit, and meditation practices. I also have a desire to understand diverse faiths and spiritual perspectives through interfaith service, with the aim of harnessing this knowledge and experience to promote societal well-being.
